Marz Shuster
We
went on a tour of Jen’s garden at her farm, and learned about all the types of
herbs and vegetables that are grown there. The garden has many different
varieties of tomatoes, peppers, squash, corn, beans as well as many herbs. As a
collaborative effort, we brainstormed ideas for a feast, which we all worked to
cook and enjoy together. Although it was a lot of work to peel and dice the
large pumpkin and squash, eating the stew later that evening made it completely
worthwhile. The green chiles stuffed with goat cheese and garlic were
particularly tasty. Everyone ate plenty of food, and the fact that we all
worked together to create the feast made it even better.
