Clear Waters

Collected willow all day. Yucca. Soon we weave baskets.

New sleeping bag, so warm. Breakfast took forever to make. Hiked through the Gila River. Then a dip in the “natural” hot springs.

I am sick. The group has banned me from camp right now.

That 2 hour nap was great this morning. Weaved a basket. It took all day and also all your energy.

Olla. Washed laundry in the river.

6 hours into archiving. Animals outside of my tent right now. Maybe I should make some noise? I think they left. I have been eaten alive by mosquitos. I just heard Clark talk loudly to the animals outside of our campsite. I’m still getting bitten by mosquitos.

So I’m in the cargo van. This is where I’m sleeping tonight. Today was pretty hectic but everything got done.  Tomorrow we leave the Gila Wilderness and head down to Texas.
