Progress IS Healing.

    I thought the forest service sign I saw in the woods was very interesting. An area that is officially in the process of healing. It made me wonder, what about the other areas of the forest? Are they not in the process of healing? How can you define healing and what does the forest service think of as healing? Is healing more of a process than a finished end goal? Are we all in the process of healing? I responded to these questions in different ways as we travelled to the Gila Wilderness. I tried to look for healing in my surroundings and took videos of little moments that I experienced as transformative or special in some way. I also thought about my own healing, which involves reconnecting with my body and self through the Earth.
