Spiral Jetty

The surreal looking glass that is the Great Salt Lake,

breathes deep and slow in zoomorphic forms.

With the sunrise crystalline foam collects on the fringe,

glistens in sunbeams all afternoon,

black rocks made porous by alkaline resonance,

scatter across the shore.

- Melodie D'Amour
